I usually fit 2 CrossFit sessions and 2-3 runs into my weeks. Last week the kids were away and I did a total of 7 workouts in 6 days :) On Sunday I was going to run as well but the day just got away from me due to nice weather / chilling with friends / drinking a lot of sangria.
It’s been hot outside but I don’t really mind. I’m not chasing any speed PBs in the summer in the normal summer temperatures, let alone in temps hovering on 30°C. I just grab my Camelbak full of cold water (if I had a freezer I’d put ice cubes into it) (I don’t have a freezer because we’re renovating and threw the old one out) and go.
Three more days of being selfish before I see my little munchkins again and my days will be travelled on the route of playground – cafe – swimming pool – playground every day for a month, in a little seaside town where days move by very slowly and nights are very light :)
